Started in August 2017, Indus Scrolls was initially launched as media venture focusing on news, views and current affairs. Registered in the proprietorship mode (soon to be incorporated as a company), the group started its publication division, Indus Scrolls Press, in 2020 with an aim to bring out quality books leveraging on the experience of its top functionaries in the publication industry.
Its Managing Director, Mr G. Sreedathan, and Managing Editor Mr. Preeth Nambiar, have more than 25 years of experience in national and international publication houses. G. Sreedathan has authored several academic books for various reputed publications.
In the short period of 2 years, Indus Scrolls Press has so far brought about 60 books. This year it plans to bring out 100 books in various genres, a quantum jump in the number of titles. It plans to venture into academic books in the year 2023-24.
As part of its expansion plans, Indus Scrolls Press inducted experienced editors into its fold taking the total number of editors to 10. They handle different topics. Most of them have more than 10 years of experience in the publishing industry.
